This 2 hour workshop is suitable for women with or without yoga experience. It is especially aimed at those with hormonal imbalances related to PMS, irregular menstrual cycle, PCOS, fertility, perimenopause, menopause, hypothyroidism or any women over 35 years old as a way to feel more rejuvenated.
Hormone Yoga Therapy (HYT) was designed by Dinah Rodrigues specifically for women with hormonal imbalances . HYT is a natural and holistic approach to reactivating hormone production. The practice of HYT includes dynamic practices to stimulate the glands and calming/anti-stress techniques to soothe the nervous system.
The workshop will entail the following:
Opening Circle
Introduction to Hormone Yoga : what is it, how it works, benefits
A Hormone Yoga practice followed by Yoga Nidra and Calming Pranayamas (breathwork) and Anti-Stress Techniques
Closing Circle & questions
Useful resources related to balancing hormones shared with you after the workshop for your individual learning.

Contraindications – There are some contraindications for hormone yoga therapy due to the dynamic breathwork which causes an increase of estrogen and requires strong abdominal movement.

- In cases where estrogen level should not increase e.g. severe endometriosis, fibroids/myoma or breast cancer
- after a surgery
- in case of acute psychosis
- in case of pregnancy
- in case of any hormone-related disease
