Course overview

This 3-day course aims to equip teachers with in depth anatomy and how to use this knowledge to assist students. We explore spine conditions, red flags and contraindications of the spine, how to use movement to improve back health and how to work 1-1 with students.

Annie Kirwan. Annie is our in house anatomy nerd. She is the lead anatomy and physiology teacher across our mat pilates, reformer pilates and yoga training. She has been teaching PIlates and Yoga for over a decade. She has a degree in Biological Science, a masters in Molecular Immunology and is currently undertaking a physiotherapy degree with the Royal College of Surgeons. Her aim to bring the cutting edge evidence based scientific and clinical research to yoga and pilates training.
