Annie Kirwan


Co-owner Reformation, Studio Director, Comprehensive Pilates Teacher, Yoga Instructor.

Annie has had a long adventurous road before finding her path to PIlates and Yoga. She started her career in the lab with a degree in biological science and a masters degree in molecular immunology. Having studied the body from the microscopic level of DNA to a whole moving entity she has a unique take on our bodies and health. Ever the learner, Annie’s fascination the human body lives on strong. She is most usually found engrossed in books reading from everything from jaws, to guts, to pelvic floor. She believes in an integrated approach to whole health, from your diet, to movement and your mental health.
She has a particular interest in the long term health of our bodies and educating clients to make choices now to look after themselves for a lifetime.
She is a fully comprehensively qualified Pilates instructor, Yoga teacher, Barre Instructor and movement lover and has travelled across the world to learn from the best educators. Teaching is Annie’s passion, allowing her to bring science to movement. She teaches a super strong class infused with fun and energy. She has a gift of challenging your body but making it really enjoyable as you go through it. She makes sure you have the foundations right, emphasising body awareness and form so you know you are moving well.

At the heart of everything Lee does is the belief that we can all live a joyful curious and creative life and empower others to do the same through the platform of Yoga, movement and meditation. After a career in corporate finance, spending time figuring out what she didn’t want in life she then realised what she did want - passion, creativity, purpose and curiosity. She found all of this is the world of Yoga and Meditation and has made this her way of life, literally changing every aspect of her own reality.
Leaving the corporate world behind her she embarked on a road of learning, growth, internal speculation and connection which has lead her on many adventures around the world. Lee has travelled the planet training with global leaders in their field and brings everything she knows into her classes which incorporate philosophy, creative sequencing, challenging asanas with moments of sweet surrender and meditation all alongside thoughtfully curated playlists. She has a soft spot and a genuine love of music and is an avid reader with a thirst for learning. She loves sharing her knowledge and meditations at global events and gatherings and has spoken and taught both nationally and internationally.
