Join Birthing Coach Linda, for a 6 week Prenatal course to help you sooth the pregnant body and prep for birth in a safe space.
What you can expect over the 6 weeks:
Week 1 All you need is Love.
This session will be all about Oxytocin, self-love and supportive poses to start to nurture yourself.
Week 2 Your cocoon of Calm.
Adding supportive pre- and postnatal tools & rituals such as breath work, meditation & visualisation, to build your 'cocoon' of calm. Finishing up with an introduction of Hypnobirthing.
Week 3 - Motion is lotion.
Breathing techniques, poses and movements to create more space & rejuvenation in the body. Great when dealing with tightness, aches or fatigue.
Week 4 Birth prep.
Exploring the birth hormones, useful birthing positions and coping techniques. Brainstorm about your birth preferences and celebrate your powerful & beautiful body. Finishing up with a little dance party.
Week 5 Postnatal prep.
We open up our women’s circle to discuss the postnatal period. Introducing hormones at play and useful tools at hand. We apply our learned poses and breath work to the 4th trimester and beyond.
Week 6 Momma retreat.
Treat yourself momma. Full restorative session full of relaxation, releasing tension & connecting to our inner wisdom. Finish up with tea, snacks and chats.
Throughout every class there will be:
-Introduction to pregnancy yoga poses & relaxation techniques; like meditation and breath work, to use at home, during labour and postnatally.
-A basic understanding of the hormones at work during pregnancy and labour and how to make the most of them
-prenatal poses to help you ease common prenatal symptoms
-A nice opportunity to connect to other expecting mums in your area and exchange experience and knowledge
-pelvic floor connection to empower you pre-, during and post birth accommodated by beneficial poses for babies positioning and birth
-A new theme every week to help you relax, to create more space in the body, to celebrate your beautiful body, loosen up, feel more rejuvenated and prep for birth.
-A 60 minute class including circle time to connect to the group and bring forward special requests, discuss certain topics with the group, a gentle warming-up, our prenatal yoga poses, a nice winding down and an extra long guided relaxation to leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed and empowered.
