Introduction to Mindfulness with Becca Mehigan

Mindfulness meditation is a simple, powerful practice that is proven to increase presence, reduce stress and anxiety, while improving self-awareness, emotional regulation, focus and mental wellbeing.

Join Becca this November, who will guide you through different types of mindfulness practices - including a sitting meditation, a body scan, and experiential practices that help to show us the tendencies of the mind.

These practices explore themes of autopilot, enhancing awareness and presence, working with obstacles when meditating, and understand the mind body connection.

Our lives are becoming increasingly demanding and busy, and whilst we can't avoid stress, we can use mindfulness to develop healthy ways of responding to stress. Just as we strengthen our muscles in the gym, our mindfulness practice allows us to strengthen the muscles of our mind.

Many people feel unsure about how to start practising mindfulness so this workshop is designed to guide you through the basics of mindfulness, and to explore the different types of mindfulness practices that we can do so that you feel empowered to start your mindfulness journey.
